Social Gatherings

The Cameron Highlanders of the Northwest hold several social events throughout the year. We schedule these events to allow our families and friends that do not reenact with us as a way to spend time together with those of us that do, and to share some fun and create memories, while getting to know each other, as well as hosting those interested in knowing more about us!

Every year we sponsor a Burns Supper Family Potluck in January, a Summer Family Potluck and Ceilidh in July, over the weekend of The Pacific Northwest Highland Games, in Enumclaw, WA, and a Cameron Family Holiday Brunch following our food distribution activity. A Ceilidh (kay-lee), is a Gaelic word that means "visit". A Gaelic "visit" means eating, singing, piping, dancing, and maybe a wee dram, if you're of legal age!

We may also get together for other events if we have the time, such as Memorial Day Weekend Family Campout and Living History at Ft Stevens State Park.

Please CONTACT us for more details or interested in joining us at one or more activities, so we may answer your questions and provide details.
